Our three-hour workshops provide you with an overview of how to identify a person at risk of suicide, talk openly about suicide and help a person to stay safe. Importantly, you will also be equipped to look after your own wellbeing.

New STOP Suicide Workshops For High-Risk Communities

Our new three-hour workshops bespoke to supporting neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ and migrated communities provide you with an overview of how to identify a person at risk of suicide, talk openly about suicide and help a person to stay safe. Importantly, you will also be equipped to look after your own wellbeing.

 

Please arrive at 9.45am to register and to allow training to begin promptly at 10am.

STOP Suicide Training: Chronic Pain

This STOP Suicide training session focuses on reducing the risk of suicide among individuals struggling with the emotional toll of chronic pain. The one-hour workshop will equip participants with the skills they need to recognise suicide warning signs, ask directly about suicide and support individuals at risk to stay safe.

 

This course will be held online via Teams. Please allow yourself time to log on to the meeting, arriving at least five minutes before the advertised start time as the training will begin promptly.

Taster talks

Our free-to-attend taster talks offer a quick introduction to our STOP Suicide campaign and will provide you with an overview of how to identify a person at risk of suicide and equip you to support that individual to stay safe.

We may be able to offer free bespoke sessions to specific community groups and charities providing local services.

We deliver both online and face-to-face sessions using either Teams or Zoom. We can arrange a group session with your organisation for a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 16 online and 24 in person. Suicide Awareness and Response for Primary Care

Did you know that our training team offers suicide awareness training for primary care practice staff?

 

The STOP Suicide campaign is led by CPSL Mind and is co-delivered by a local GP. The 4 Mental Health course is also championed by local NHS and public health teams.

 

The three-and-a-half-hour workshop can be delivered in two one and a half hour sessions online and in person.

Zero Suicide Alliance FREE Suicide Prevention Training

This training is offered by the Zero Suicide Alliance. It will teach you how to recognise the warning signs and safeguard someone that could be contemplating suicide. 

 

The free, 20 minute course will teach you:

 

  • How to identify when someone may be having suicidal thoughts or behaviour.
  • How to talk openly and confidently to a suicidal person about their thoughts and feelings.
  • The best process for signposting individuals to services or support networks that can help them.
